The countdown to National Ijtema 2026 is under way. With just under a month to go, here are 10 new activities happening at National Ijtema 2026.
The Ijtema this year will take place on 25th, 26th, and 27th September 2026 at Hook Lane, Puttenham, Guildford GU3 1AN.
1.
The Journey Marquee:
The Journey Marquee is a high-impact, interactive exhibition space curated alongside the Review of Religions team.
It focuses on personal connection with God while addressing modern intellectual, atheistic, and materialist doubts.
It includes multi-sensory displays, AR/VR booths, quiet Q&A consultation zones, three escape rooms, and spaces for external exhibitors, shifting from traditional static displays to an immersive, faith-strengthening experience.

Academics Final Live
Academics Finals Live brings Premier National Academic Competitions in Nazm, Speeches, and Extempore to high-production value stages with live, interactive audience elements.
It elevates intellectual rigor and transforms academic competitions from closed classrooms into exciting prime-time events.
The top 5 national competitors perform live, and the audience votes to influence final standings alongside the judges.
This boosts viewer turnout, modernizes the format, and celebrates high achievements in a professional light.

Crisis Simulation
Crisis Simulations is an immersive emergency response simulator where groups of Khuddam respond to unplanned, live crisis scenarios.
It develops rapid decision-making skills and showcases the practical real-world impact of humanitarian organizations like Humanity First.
Teams navigate realistic scenarios including simulated earthquake response under rubble, hostile food distribution crowds, and medical triage evacuation protocols.
It delivers intense excitement, a memorable teamwork experience under pressure, and active engagement with humanitarian service.

The Portal Marquee
The Portal Marquee is a dynamic, high-energy workshop pavilion using a Learn, Do, Reflect model focused on practical, hands-on tasks over screens.
Participants complete checkpoints such as Janaza Prep, Basic Engine Servicing, First Aid, and Wood Carving to earn tokens, finishing with spiritual reflection. Key zones include the Innovation Lab, Debate & Dialogue Stage, Enterprise Hub, Character Studio, Skills Garage, and Café & Social Lounge.
It offers high engagement, acquisition of useful life skills, and direct integration of Tarbiyyat into daily activities.

Ijtema Championship
The Ijtema Championship is a multi-day regional tournament providing Khuddam and regions the opportunity to compete across various activities throughout National Ijtema.
It uses a 100% real-time integrated scoring system displayed on screens across the venue to spur healthy regional rivalry, converting every minor sport and academic victory into cumulative points that directly boost a region’s overall leaderboard position.

Escape Rooms
Escape Rooms are immersive, thematic escape rooms built on-site where small teams solve intellectual, physical, and history puzzles together. They build critical skills like team coordination, communication under stress, and practical thinking through a modern gaming setup.
Teams register for slot-based challenges centered around historical Islamic structures and tactical scenarios, fostering intense collaboration across age groups, building strong team bonds, and testing tactical speed.
