Competition Time!
We’ve all been to that one Ijtema, where the judge calls through the competition list, and we are all avoiding eye contact as no one has really prepared for it and we lack a bit of confidence to come forward. We look around desperate for a brave soul to break the silence. But hopefully more often than not we’ve also experienced the opposite Ijtema, where everyone comes together and rallies each other to the point that you find yourself raising your hand when the roll call comes. We all know which Ijtema we enjoy more. So we encourage you to check out the Ijtma Syllabus and spend a bit of time ahead of the Ijtema preparing for the competitions. We believe InshAllah there is enough variety in the syllabus that pretty much every can pick at least 1 or 2 competitions they can prepare for. So be brave and make sure you do your bit coming prepared, your Ijtema and your fellow Khuddam will be better off for it!
