Hafiz Ijaaz Tahir Sb and Murabbi Salman Qamar Sb have opened at the outdoor stage. Khuddam have gathered to interact in the first of the interactive talk series under the blessed weather.

Amir Sb concludes the opening session address with a series of Prayers for the Khuddam and that they enjoy National Ijtema.

And so the Ijtema begins. Khuddam will enjoy a series of talks, sporting and academic competitions Inshallah.

IJTEMA TRAFFIC UPDATE
There has been an accident on the A31 coming towards the Ijtema site. All attendees are requested to travel via the A3 and AVOID the A31.

Here are some snapshots of the Opening Session of National Ijtema as Amir delivers an opening address talking about advent of Promised Messiah (as) and his teachings.

Amir Sb begins the opening address of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya UK by saying “Members of the Majlis should the true example of what true Ahmadi Muslims should be.”

Opening Session begins with Tilawat with verses from Holy Quran.

Preparations for opening session are taking place as Khuddam get ready for Flag hoisting.

By the grace of Allah, Huzur e Aqdas (aba) approved the theme of this year’s National Ijtema to be Holy Quran — Cakset Of Jewels. 

The Promised Messiah (as) states, “The Holy Quran is a casket of jewels, but people are sadly unaware of it.”

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) emphasises the importance of reading even a single letter from the Holy Quran, calling it the greatest blessing. He states, “Whoever recites a letter from Allah’s book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the like of it. I do not say Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter.”

The importance of understanding what Allah the Almighty has stated is crucial for one to build a closer connection with God. This is something the Promised Messiah (as) has emphasised: “I would like to advise my community to learn the Arabic language, because without a knowledge of Arabic, one cannot enjoy the Holy Quran.”

A perfect book will always have an opening chapter that sets out the guidance and principles for mankind to read, understand, and follow.

Today marks the first day of National Ijtema 2025. Here’s a quick run down on what’s happened so far:

• By the Grace of Allah, Khuddam had listened the live stream of Huzur e aqdas (aba) Friday Sermon.
• Khuddam had read Jummah and Asr Namaz.
• Lunch is currently being served.

What’s to come:

• Preparations for National Ijtema Opening Session are set to take place.
• At 16:30 the Flag Hoisting will be led by Amir Sb UK.
• 16:45 Amir Sb UK will chair the opening session of MKA National Ijtema 2025.
